Refrain: If you, O God, laid bare our guilt,
O who could endure it? O who could endure it?

Out of the depths I cry to you, Lord, hear my plea.
Let your ear be attentive to the sound of my call. Refrain

If you, O God, laid bare our sin, Lord who could stand?
But with you is forgiveness, so your name is revered. Refrain

Waiting for you, our souls await, hoping in God.
God will save us from sorrow, bring us back from our sin. Refrain
