Food Drive: The M & O committee of SJRUC is holding its initial fundraiser for 2024 for the Waterloo Regional Food Bank from Sunday February 25th until Thursday March 28th. In 2023 our church organized two fundraisers for the Food Bank, and as a result was able to generously deliver 605 pounds of food items and donate a total of $2,490. It is expected the number of people within our community requiring support from the Waterloo Regional Food Bank in 2024 will continue to grow, and we hope our congregation will be able to continue its generous support in 2024, possibly even exceeding what was donated in 2023. For the forty days of Lent, consider donating one food item per day!
