We have been working hard to ensure that our facilities are accessible to all.
The entrance on Kensington St. has a ramp from the street and a level doorway that enables easy access to the narthex. There is also a ramped sidewalk from the back of the parking lot (off Sherwood Ave.) to the Kensington entrance.
In 1996 we added a new entrance on the Sherwood Ave. side of the building. This includes parking, a level entrance and a lift that provides access to all levels of the building. Accessible washrooms are available on 2 levels. There are several openings in the sanctuary pews to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers.
We use state of the art microphones and amplify our services to a comfortable level. We broadcast the services through a Phonic Ear transmitter and portable receivers which are available for you to use. These are also convenient for parents who wish to listen to the service while tending to their child’s needs outside of the sanctuary.
To protect the health and well-being of all of our members, guests and staff, we kindly ask that you refrain from wearing or using any scented products while at church. Scented products linger long after an individual leaves an area. This can cause allergic reactions and respiratory distress for members, visitors and staff. Your co-operation in assisting our church to provide a fragrance-free environment is greatly appreciated.
